I am not a big fan of using “Why” as a question. However, the question above can be looked at through many different lenses, (job role, our responses, our behaviours, our interactions, even our holidays or the sports teams we support) The question is worth further exploration, particularly during times of pressure or busyness. Understanding our “why” is really important and helps us to understand ourselves more.

On the topic of pressure, if you are experiencing some discomfort over a forthcoming conversation that you need to have, which you may even be avoiding, you could use the above question. However, here are some other questions to help you reflect. I have heard some great answers to these questions previously. It would be great to hear yours. Have a look at the four questions below and see how you get on.

“What would happen if you had this conversation?”
“What wouldn`t happen if you had this conversation?”
“What would happen if you didn`t have this conversation?”
“What wouldn`t happen if you didn`t have this conversation?”

PS… “I don’t know” isn`t allowed. 😊😊
